Since the inaugural Webby Awards show in 1997, we have honored the companies, teams, creatives and innovators setting the standard for digital work in their respective industries. From teams that create new experiences with emerging technologies to those that are building new platforms, Webby Award Winners and Nominees pave the way for what is possible using the Internet.

To continue recognizing the best of the Internet, we’ve released our 3rd Annual Webby Industry Index. The data-based project highlights the top organizations in key industries recognized during the 25th Annual Webby Awards. To better honor these teams and organizations, we have ranked the top-performing companies across seven industry types that are honored during each Webby Awards season. In the following indexes, we celebrate the teams currently leading innovation in their fields, and highlight a few of their projects.

HOW IT WORKS: To start, we analyzed which industries over indexed in the 25th Annual Webby Awards. We then ranked which companies produced the highest-performing work in The Webby Awards. *Companies are listed with the highest-performing projects top to bottom. Webby Wins are weighed more heavily in calculations.*
