Yext Partners with The 17th Annual Webby Awards to Announce
Top Secret After Party Location
Yext allows businesses to own and manage their location information and enhance it with photos, Featured Message and Content Lists. Customers can instantly update it across the nearly 50 sites in the PowerListings Network, including Yahoo!, Foursquare and Facebook, to reach more than 150 million customers monthly.
“In the digital world, we depend on correct information about the locations we visit and we’re crippled when it’s missing,” said Howard Lerman, Yext CEO and co-founder. “So announcing the After Party location during the show itself demonstrates the power of the location information we help our customers manage and update.”
The Webby Awards and Yext will also partner to host a Google+ Hangout in June to discuss improving the way local businesses and customers connect. The Hangout will provide people a chance to learn insights on location-based information on the Web from Webby Awards Executive Director David-Michel Davies and Yext’s Howard Lerman.
“Yext has been an incredible success story in transforming the way business manage their information online and present it to their customers,” said Davies. “There’s no better way to show off their incredible capabilities to the most Web savvy people in the world than to reveal the secret location of the Web’s best party through Yext.”
Announced last week, the Winners of The 17th Annual Webby Awards include Mars Curiosity Rover, The Verge, Google Maps for iPhone, Charlize Theron, Red Bull Stratos, Humans of New York, HuffPost Live and Songza, among others. Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti, Obama for America 2012, Frank Ocean, Grimes, Burning Love and GIF Inventor Steve Wilhite were among the Special Achievement honorees.
All Webby and People’s Voice Award winners will be honored at a star-studded ceremony hosted by acclaimed actor and comedian Patton Oswalt at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on Tuesday, May 21. Fans around the world can watch the entire show, as well as the red carpet, the hallmark 5-Word Speeches, musical performances and other highlights on The Webby Awards Channel on Wednesday, May 22, at Watch.WebbyAwards.com.
