The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) today announced the winners for the 29th Annual Webby Awards, with Serviceplan Germany receiving the award for Webby Agency of the Year and DEPT® winning the award for Webby Network of the Year. The Academy also announced m ss ng p eces as this year’s Webby Production Company of the Year, with the most pieces celebrated across all Webby categories. Additionally, the Webby Awards will award Google with their first-ever Brand of the Year achievement with 7 Webby Wins, 9 People’s Voice Wins, 24 Nominees and 9 Honorees.

Serviceplan Germany wins Webby Agency of the year (15 Wins, 4 Nominations). DEPT® (12 Wins, 5 Nominations), TBWA\Media Arts Lab – LA (8 Wins, 10 Nominations), Wieden+Kennedy – Portland (8 Wins, 3 Nominations), We Are Social U.S. (6 Wins, 2 Nominations), and Whalar Group (2 Wins, 7 Nominations) were all in close contention. Among their recognized work is 855-HOW-TO-QUIT-(OPIOIDS), Animal Alerts, Space Trash Signs, and Rainbow Wool.

DEPT® wins Webby Network of the Year (16 Wins, 6 Nominations). Serviceplan Group (15 Wins, 4 Nominations), Wieden+Kennedy (13 Wins, 8 Nominations), TBWA Worldwide (9 Wins, 15 Nominations), Ogilvy (7 Wins, 11 Nominations), Accenture Song (4 Wins, 12 Nominations), and Stagwell (3 Wins, 14 Nominations) were also in tight competition for the Webby Network of the Year.
