Webby Global
The Webbys, hailed as "The most prestigious award in the world" by the BBC, is the global index of success for interactive work. The 11th Annual Webby Awards drew 8,000 entries from over 60 countries and from all 50 States, a growth rate of over 45% from 2006.
For the 11th Annual Awards, the Webbys did more to reach the global community by initiating the Webby International Ambassador Program. Webby Ambassadors are a group of passionate Internet supporters, creatives, and entrepreneurs in 20 countries, serving as a "voice on the ground" in their area.
